Overview

 More than a candle—Classic Kitchen is a tribute to the culinary legacy of Topo Pino. In 1903, Janet McKenzie Hill, editor of The Boston Cooking School Magazine, founded her Summer School of Cookery right here on this land. Women traveled from across the country to learn not only how to cook, but how to nourish, gather, and live with intention.

This scent is inspired by that history—a warm, familiar blend of cozy almond, golden crust, and soft vanilla. The kind of aroma that fills a kitchen just before a cake is pulled from the oven or a holiday loaf is sliced at the table.

Part of The Cookery by Topo Pino, Classic Kitchen honors the spirit of home as it once was—and still can be: seasonal, heartfelt, and filled with joy.

Our Process

Every Topo Pino candle is hand-poured by our founder in Portland, Maine, reflecting our belief that the making of a candle should be as intentional as the moments it creates. After carefully cleaning and labeling each vessel, the eco-friendly cotton wick is placed, and the wax and fragrance blend—crafted from premium coconut soy wax and fine fragrance oils—is precisely measured and gently poured by hand in small batches.

Each candle is finished with a protective dust cover and thoughtfully packaged in a crisp white box—creating a clean, elevated unboxing experience that reflects the care poured into every candle.
