In the early 1900s, Topo Pino was home to a Summer School of Cookery — a place where people gathered to learn, cook, and find pleasure in making things well. The Cookery draws from that history.

Everything in this pillar is shaped by kitchen rhythms and the quiet satisfaction of a home that functions beautifully — from scent to the objects you reach for every day.

A Quiet Legacy

More than a century ago, Janet McKenzie Hill — editor of The Boston Cooking School Magazine — opened her Summer School of Cookery at Topo Pino. Her vision was simple: teach people to cook well, eat seasonally, and find pleasure in a kitchen that ran with care. The Cookery honors that legacy.

"Each item is designed to bring warmth, seasonality, and a sense of occasion to your kitchen and home."
