Candle Care

First Burn
Remove the lid before lighting. On the first burn, allow the candle to burn for up to four hours, or until the melt pool reaches the edge of the vessel. Coconut-soy wax has a strong memory, and this first burn helps set the pattern for an even burn going forward.

Burn Time
Burn for no more than four hours at a time to help prevent overheating and preserve the life of the candle.

Wick
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use. If soot appears on the inside of the vessel, allow the candle to cool, then wipe it clean with a damp cloth. Keeping the wick trimmed helps prevent most soot.

Environment
Always burn within sight on a heat-resistant surface, away from children, pets, drafts, and anything flammable.
