Deep teal, blue-green, and warm golden tones are woven through natural fibers in the Juniper Basket, creating a rich, earthy palette inspired by the landscape. Handwoven in Gitarama, Rwanda, each basket is made by skilled women artisans using traditional techniques.
Sisal fibers are extracted from agave plants, then hand-dyed and woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle natural sweetness. The result is a beautifully textured piece that celebrates both material and craft.
At approximately 8" in diameter, the Juniper Basket can be displayed on a wall, layered into a collection, or placed on a table or shelf as a decorative catchall. A loop on the back makes hanging easy.
Each basket is woven entirely by hand, so subtle variations in color, pattern, and size are part of its character.
