Soft, tonal shades of blush give this handwoven basket its quiet, textural character. Made in Gitarama, Rwanda, each basket is woven by skilled women artisans using traditional techniques.
Sisal fibers are extracted from agave plants, then hand-dyed and woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle natural sweetness. The result is a beautifully textured piece that celebrates both material and craft.
At approximately 8" in diameter, the Blush Basket can be displayed on a wall, layered into a collection, or placed on a table or shelf as a decorative catchall. A loop on the back makes hanging easy.
Each basket is woven entirely by hand, so subtle variations in color, pattern, and size are part of its character.
