Topo Pino began in the early 1900s as a place where people gathered — centered on nourishment and care. At its heart was the Cookery, a cooking school where recipes were refined and returned to over time.

Those early values continue to guide the work today, even as the ways they take shape evolve.

A framework taking form

Over the past year, we’ve given structure to that way of living through our Heritage Pillars — the Cookery, the Bloomery, the Hearthery, and the Foundry. Together, they offer a framework for nourishment, growth, home, and thoughtful making.

Today, Topo Pino takes form through a considered collection of offerings designed to support everyday rituals and seasonal living.

Candles, reimagined

Our candles have been thoughtfully reimagined. We decided to evolve our prior candle designs and introduce new matte white vessels with natural bamboo lids—a form that feels timeless, enduring, and aligned with where Topo Pino is today.

Within this new form, we now offer four candle collections:

• Signature, representing our four Heritage Pillars
• Alpine, inspired by mountain landscapes and a sense of elevation and perspective
• Coastal, rooted in the landscape we call home along the Maine coast
• Limited edition candles, released each season

Each collection reflects a different expression of place, season, and daily life.

The Alpine Collection draws from higher ground — evergreen forests, open vistas, and the quiet mystique of mountain landscapes. Designed to feel expansive and steady, these candles carry a sense of elevation and perspective across seasons.

The Coastal Collection reflects the landscape we call home — shaped by salt air, shifting light, and the steady rhythm of the shoreline. These candles capture the movement and openness of the coast, bringing a sense of air and presence into everyday spaces.

Paper goods, extending the work

Our paper goods were created from that same place of care. Designed as tools for reflection, planning, and connection, they span all four Heritage Pillars and extend into our Coastal and Alpine collections, carrying the landscape and season into everyday use.

Together, these pieces are meant to live alongside daily rituals — lighting a candle, writing a note, planning the days ahead, and marking moments as they unfold.

Looking ahead

As the year continues, we’ll keep sharing what grows from this work — from the kitchen and garden to the home, and the ongoing practice of nurturing joy through thoughtful making.
