A New Season at Topo Pino

A New Season at Topo Pino

Introducing Studio Editions, beginning with Edition No. 1.

With the garden nearly put to bed, we’ve entered a season of reflection — gathering what the year has taught us and sharing more of the history, place, and traditions that continue to shape Topo Pino.

This fall also marks the beginning of something new: Studio Editions.

Studio Editions are small, considered releases of photographic, archival, or design-led work created in limited runs. They give us a place to explore ideas that sit a little outside our permanent collections, while still feeling distinctly part of the world of Topo Pino.

And it felt fitting for the first one to begin with the archive.

Edition No. 1

Our first Studio Edition brings together six historic photographs from the early years of Topo Pino in South Chatham, New Hampshire: the houses, the porch, the landscape, the Summer School of Cookery, and the people who shaped this place.

Each card includes a small identification caption on the front and a short archival note on the reverse, preserving what we know about the photograph and its place in the history of Topo Pino.

The six cards are gathered in a translucent vellum envelope finished with the Topo Pino monogram — a simple way to keep, display, or collect a small piece of this history.

The archive has become an important part of how we think about Topo Pino today. Not as nostalgia, but as a way of making everyday life more thoughtful. The things we uncover here — photographs, stories, gardens, recipes, materials and traditions — often become the starting point for something new.

And there’s more to come from the second season of the garden — stories, observations, and a few things we’re carrying forward into next year.

For now, we’re beginning here.
